The NC500 stands for North Coast 500 miles and was launched in 2015.

– it is a 516-mile scenic route around the North Coast of Scotland. The route starts and ends at Inverness Castle.


Is the North Coast 500 Signposted? There are brown tourist NC500 signs around the Scottish Highlands. You will see lots of Highlands attractions with brown signs too. The local towns and villages will be signposted so look out for where you are going next.
